What is a blog?

Yes, what is a blog? A miserable little pile of words wound into a wretched . . . ha-ha just kidding. Seriously I figured that the best thing to blog about right now is blogs themselves. I really have enjoyed the blogging in this class. It really gives the class a futuristic feel and somewhat of an edge. It may sound crazy, but I'm so ready to see people push the limits on technology and really integrate it into our lives. I know some people have found it difficult to finish their blogs, but just like everything else, there comes a time where you have to get out with the old and in with the new. High definition broadcasting is finally on the brink of making our ancient old school tube set's obsolete. I still think CRT's deliver slightly crisper and more accurate color ranges, but there just comes a point where we have to do away with the old so that we can make genuine progress. It may hurt a bit, but people need to get used to the internet and blogging; our future is in technology and if people don't keep up they'll be left ignorant in the dust. It may sound harsh but all I can say is that I really appreciated this aspect of this class and really felt it made it much more rounded and full. Now sentence diagramming on the other hand . . . . . blargh . . . . . .

The God Particle Kicks Off With A Big Bang!!!

If the present world and all of it's technological splendor isn't interesting enough as it is, it would seem that some genius over on the Switzerland/France border has created a gigantic Large Hadron Collider. These are the same folks that invented the internet apparently, but what is a LHC and what is the god particle? Well god particle apparently was originally called the Higgs boson, or the particle responsible for the creation of all life during/after the Big Bang. The subatomic particle should explain why matter has mass, and in order to get a sample of this gem of a subatomic particle, one would have to recreate the same conditions that the theorized big bang occurred in. They would need something that would smash these particles together apparently, at blinding speeds, the distance needed would be pretty vast. But the miniature Big Bang being created in this LHC is costing roughly around 3 billion dollars and stretching 17 mile laps. This is no small project.
But why is the real question here. Why would any of this even matter? So we're going to smash proton's together to find the origin of mass, how does this help anyone? These are the people that gave us the internet, and now they're introducing the Grid. In order to crunch all the data from this endeavor a new system of computing information is having to be harnessed and utilized. Enter the Grids scorching 5 gigabyte a second speeds. This thing will probably replace the internet and also make it possible for another very creepy fact. Now Jessica I will tie this into the mark of the beast.
The mark of the beast scripturally is not 666. 666 is the number of a man and can computed through the letters of his name as the Hebrew/Greek/English alphabet has numerical equivalents. Emperor Nero added up to six hundred sixty six. The mark of the beast is used to buy and sell, imagine waving a hand over a cash register to purchase your groceries. Your banking automatically being uploaded, no more confusion. If your dying, this super computer of all super computers could pin point a problem and within moments an ambulance would be dispatched. A wanted criminal tries to run and hide, but forget needing a cell phone to track him, this guy is marked, chipped and can be located no matter where he goes. Try to remove it and your brain's fried.
It would seem what we have here in this supercomputer of all supercomputers could be the building blocks of a "beast". Now all that's left traditionally is for America to go bankrupt and have to either get smashed in war or join some one world order of Government like a greater version of the United Nations. A one world currency through the marks. That and the Jews need their mount Zion temple back, so an Antichrist can desecrate their holy of holies. Things are starting to get interesting for crazy folk like myself.
Here's a website with information on the Higgs boson/god particle: http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/12.04/grid.html
